Next mining and gas jobs expos announced
The dates of a further four Work for Queensland Mining and Gas Jobs Expos have been announced.
The Queensland Government, in partnership with major resources industry employers, is hosting the free one-day jobs expos in Logan, Ipswich, Toowoomba and Brisbane during the first two weeks of February.
The purpose of the expos is to provide jobseekers with information about the range of jobs and careers available in the resources sector in Queensland.
Confirmed exhibitors include Thiess, Origin Energy, Downer EDI Mining, Skilled, WorkPac, TAFE and Skilling Solutions Queensland.
The first expo will be held at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 1 February from 10am.

Regional Queensland universities receive funding boost
Three Queensland universities will receive more than $145 million in Australian Government funding to boost higher education in regional centres and support partnerships with TAFE to create a more integrated tertiary sector.
