Partner with a training provider
The Australian Quality Training Framework Essential Conditions and Standards for Registration, standard 3, element 3.3 allows a registered training organisation to establish a partnership arrangement with another provider of education and training. The second party may, or may not, be a registered training organisation.
In other words, your business may partner with a registered training organisation to provide nationally recognised training to your employees.
The registered training organisation will have a written agreement with your business, specifying how each of you will discharge your responsibilities for compliance with the Australian Quality Training Framework standards for registered training organisations. Registered training organisations will take an active role in managing any partnership arrangements, to ensure the quality of training and assessment delivered and to protect their registration status.
The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations provides basic information on partnering on the training.com.au website.
Guide 7: assessment using partnership arrangements on the Resource Generator website provides detailed information to help registered training organisations develop, implement and maintain quality assured partnership arrangements. Businesses and employers may find these guides to be of assistance in making the decision to enter into a partnership with a registered training organisation. You will need to register on the website, but this is a free.
