Evaluation of applications

Any entity wishing to become recognised as a principal employer organisation in Queensland must make an application to Skills Queensland.

The application for recognition as a principal employer organisation form includes questions that require an applicant to demonstrate that the entity meets the requirements of the principal employer organisations operations manual.

Once submitted, the department will evaluate the application against the operations manual. The department will then make a recommendation to Skills Queensland as to whether or not recognition should be granted.

The department will take approximately four weeks to process an application. This timeframe may vary depending on the nature and completeness of the application. For example, if further information is sought from the application then this would delay the processing of the application.

Once the department has evaluated the application, it will prepare a recommendation to Skills Queensland.
