Becoming recognised as a principal employer organisation
Entities can apply to the Training and Employment Recognition Council to be recognised as a principal employer organisation in Queensland.
An application for recognition as a principal employer organisation in Queensland has two parts:
-
meeting the Queensland requirements as outlined in the application for recognition as a principal employer organisation form
-
compliance with the Queensland Quality Standards for principal employer organisations in accordance with the audit arrangements for principal employer organisations.
Applications are evaluated by the department and then submitted to the Training and Employment Recognition Council. The Council decides whether or not to recognise the entity as a principal employer organisation.
An application will not be considered unless it is lodged together with a quality audit report, including a compliance recommendation. View the quality audit report on the forms, reports and resources page.
Entities should seek departmental advice prior to making application for recognition as a principal employer organisation.
