Training available for job seekers
Eligible job seekers may be able to access training under the program through contracted registered training organisations and via Skilling Queenslander for Work.
Registered training organisations (RTOs)
A primary aim of the Productivity Places Program is to increase workforce participation by training eligible job seekers in areas of demand as identified by the state industry training engagement bodies. To achieve this aim the Department of Education and Training has contracted a number of registered training organisations (RTOs) to deliver training to eligible job seekers for qualifications in demand by the current labour market.
Skilling Queenslanders for Work
Additional job seeker places are available through Skilling Queenslanders for Work. This initiative aims to provide jobseekers facing substantial barriers with customised employment and training assistance.
