Queensland overseas scholarships

Queensland Overseas Foundation is offering four scholarships up to $7000

Queenslanders who have recently completed an apprenticeship or traineeship (Certificate III or above), or a vocational certificate IV or above, in the past four years and gained relevant work experience are being given the opportunity to fine tune their skills overseas.

The scholarships are available to former apprentices, trainees or vocational students to support travel to a country of their choice to work or undertake further training in their field.

Past winners have traveled to countries such as the United Kingdom, France and Canada to work as chefs, interior designers and refrigeration mechanics.

The Queensland Overseas Foundation (QOF) is a voluntary non profit organisation that is sponsored by Queensland industry and supported by the State Government.

Applications for the scholarships close on October 31. Further information can be found on the Queensland Overseas Foundation website.
