Overseas qualification recognition

1. Do you meet all of the criteria below?

  1. Are you an Australian resident, or have permission to work or study in Australia?
    and
  2. Are you a Queensland resident?
    and
  3. Have you completed a formal technical or tertiary qualification overseas?

Yes, go to General academic assessments below.
No, go to the skills recognition is unable to assess your qualification page.

Note: Check if your overseas qualification (higher education, post secondary, technical or vocational qualification) is from one of the countries on the NOOSR list of countries on the Australian Education International website. The Department of Education, Training and Employment can only assess qualifications from these countries.

2. General academic assessments

The overseas qualification assessment is a general academic assessment that provides an indication of the general educational comparability in Australian terms. This assessment will not assist with occupational registration or licensing, but does assist with general employment.

Check whether your occupation is a registered and/or licensed occupation.

Do you intend to work in a registered/licensed occupation?
