New course registration process
If your organisation wishes to add a new qualification or course to your existing CRICOS registration, you must do so by completing the CRICOS 2 - Application form to add a new course.
You must also apply to transition your scope when training package qualifications and accredited courses become superseded or expired.
Section 3 in the form outlines the evidence you are required to submit with the application. You must ensure that all required evidence is attached so that your application is not delayed or returned for correction.
Only courses which require a student to attend full time study for a minimum of 20 scheduled contact hours per week can be registered on CRICOS. The duration of a course should be longer than 12 weeks, unless the course is considered an enabling course.
Your application must also include the correct application fee. A schedule of CRICOS application fees can be found under application fees.
Application processing times will vary depending on the findings of the audit activity. A well prepared organisation should allow approximately three to five months for the process to be completed by the State Designated Authority.
