Vocational Education and Training Disability Support Service - VDSS
The VDSS provides a service to public and private registered training organisations (RTOs) that receive funding through the Department of Education and Training (DET) to support eligible learners with a disability.
Services are aligned to lessening the impact of disability on a person's capacity to:
- function independently within the vocational education and training (VET) environment
- achieve a vocational outcome.
The amount of support provided will vary and is based on individual requirements. There is no cost to the student or the training provider.
Disability officers or staff responsible for coordinating services for learners with a disability at registered training organisations should refer to the VDSS Guidelines for more information.
