Travel and accommodation subsidies
Apprentices and trainees who travel to attend courses in relation to their training program may be eligible for travel and/or accommodation subsidies.

General problems and what to do​
Training and work related problems you might have as an apprentice or trainee.

Complaint about or appeal against a decision​
If you disagree with a decision made by the department, there are options available to take to appeal against the decision.

Support services​
Support services are available to apprentices and trainees with disabilities, who are indigenous or require learning, crisis or advocacy support.

Industry Specialist Mentoring for Australian Apprenticeships
The Australian Government has introduced the Industry Specialist Mentoring for Australian Apprenticeships (ISMAA) program. A number of organisations have been contracted to provide intensive and specialist assistance ​to apprentices and trainees who are experiencing barriers to completing their training through frequent contact from a highly skilled industry mentor with appropriate skill sets.
