​Group training organisation audits

Under the Further Education and Training Act 2014 (PDF, 1.2MB), it is a requirement of recognition and continued recognition as a group training organisation (GTO) that organisations are compliant against the National Standards for Group Training Organisations (PDF, 183KB).

The Department of Education and Training has developed audit arrangements for Queensland based on the requirements of the National Standards for Group Training Organisations (PDF, 183KB).

The department has prepared the following information on audit procedures and requirements to assist organisations wishing to be recognised as GTOs in this state.

About the National Standards
The National Standards provides a framework that promotes national consistency and quality in the provision of group training services in Australia.

About audits
Under the national framework, independent audits of group training organisations against the National Standards are required at least once every three years.
