Applying to be recognised as a principal employer organisation
Organisations wishing to be recognised as a principal employer organisation (PEO) in Queensland need to submit an
Application for recognition as a principal employer organisation form to the Department of Education and Training.

To demonstrate that Queensland Quality Standards have been met, applicants will need to engage an external auditor, at their own expense, to conduct a compliance audit.
When applying, applicants should also familiarise themselves with the
five sections of the operational manual for PEOs in Queensland and understand the methods by which PEOs are
monitored and evaluated in this state.
