Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year
This award recognises the outstanding achievement of an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student who displays a strong understanding and knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET) system, and demonstrates the relevance of lifelong learning for themselves and their community.
The nominee must:
- nominate for and meet the criteria for any of the following student categories:
- identify as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
How to nominate
To be considered in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year award category, you must first nominate for one of the abovementioned student categories via the online Award Force nomination portal.
When submitting your nomination,
tick the box indicating that you are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent to ensure you are also considered for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year category.
