Some qualifications, such as those considered as thin markets, are managed under special arrangements by the department. Only registered training organisations who hold pre-qualified supplier status and are specifically authorised by the department can deliver publicly funded training for these qualifications.
Below are current notices from the department about certain qualifications and related funding conditions.
Please note: the following qualifications are now restricted which means that no registered training organisation seeking pre-qualified supplier (PQS) status in Queensland can apply to deliver these qualifications in Queensland, and existing PQS are unable to have these qualifications added to their schedule for delivery in Queensland. These qualifications are:
CPP20212 Certificate II in Security Operations
CPP30411 Certificate III in Security Operations
CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
